Rockaway Beach is located on the Northern Oregon Coast, approximately 14 miles North of Tillamook, Oregon, and just north of the Tillamook Bay. Residents and visitors alike, enjoy the 7 1/2 miles of walkable, sandy beach that parallels Rockaway Beach. A view of the infamous Twin Rocks is visible from every stance of the beach. We are away from the hussle and bussle of cities, such as Portland, and we are not inendated with tourists such as towns like Seaside are. The residents here are friendly, with over 50% of our homes belonging to second home owners who make their permanent residence elsewhere.

Rockaway Beach has a Post Office, a Grocery store and a convenience store, as well as Laundry Mats, Dog Grooming, and other services that may be needed by our residents. There are some antique and gift shops located here as a convenience to residents and tourists alike. The nearest hosipital is in the city of Tillamook, but ambulance service is always placed stratigically throughout the area for fast service when the need arises.

We have a newly opened library and various groups organize a few festivals each year that are usually held at the Wayside in the center of town, beside the beach.
